  • 1 pound fresh figs
  • 3 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon salted butter, divided
  • 1 ½ cups whole milk ricotta
  • Calivinegar Pear Balsamic Vinegar, for drizzling
  • Chopped walnuts, for topping
  • 6 to 8 slices sourdough bread, toasted
  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F.
  2. Remove the stems of the figs and cut into quarters.
  3. Melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
  4. On a sheet lined baking tray, gently toss the figs with honey and melted butter. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
  5. With a hand mixer, whip the ricotta on high speed for 2 minutes.
  6. Spread whipped ricotta on each toast. Top with roasted figs, chopped walnuts, and a generous drizzle of Calivinegar Pear Balsamic Vinegar,.
