- 1 pound fresh figs
- 3 tablespoons honey
- 1 tablespoon salted butter, divided
- 1 ½ cups whole milk ricotta
- Calivinegar Pear Balsamic Vinegar, for drizzling
- Chopped walnuts, for topping
- 6 to 8 slices sourdough bread, toasted
- Preheat the oven to 350°F.
- Remove the stems of the figs and cut into quarters.
- Melt 1 tablespoon of butter.
- On a sheet lined baking tray, gently toss the figs with honey and melted butter. Bake for 10 to 15 minutes.
- With a hand mixer, whip the ricotta on high speed for 2 minutes.
- Spread whipped ricotta on each toast. Top with roasted figs, chopped walnuts, and a generous drizzle of Calivinegar Pear Balsamic Vinegar,.
