Carne Asada:
- 1 pound skirt steak or flank steak
- 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lime juice
- ¼ cup orange juice
- 2 tablespoons soy sauce
- 1 jalapeño, finely diced
- ½ cup cilantro leaves, chopped
- 2 teaspoons chili powder
- 1 teaspoon ground cumin
- 1 teaspoon dried oregano
- ó teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon Calivirgin Guilty Garlic Olive Oil
Nachos:
- 12 ounces tortilla chips
- 8 ounces cheddar cheese, grated
- 4 ounces monterey jack cheese, grated
- Optional toppings: pico de gallo,guacamole, crema, jalapeños, cilantro, Calivirgin Lavish Lime Olive Oil
- Combine the marinade ingredients and pour over steak in a dish or in a gallon sized sealable bag. Store in the refrigerator and marinate for at least 2 hours or as long as overnight.
- Grill or pan cook the steak until it reaches the desired doneness and let rest 5 minutes. Slice into bite-sized pieces.
- Spread the chips in a single layer and slightly overlapping in a sheet pan. Sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 375°F in oven until cheese is melted, about 5 minutes.
- Top with carne asada, drizzle with Calivirgin Lavish Lime Olive Oil and sprinkle on your favorite toppings!
