- 4 slices sourdough, cut into chunks
- 1 cup Parmesan cheese, grated
- 3 tablespoons Calivirgin Truffle Olive Oil
- Sea salt flakes, to taste
- Black pepper, to taste
- Romaine lettuce
- Caesar dressing
- ¾ cups Parmesan shavings
- Place grated parmesan cheese, Calivirgin Truffle Olive Oil, sea salt flakes, black pepper and sourdough into a bowl and toss until croutons are well coated.
- Place tossed ingredients onto a non stick baking tray. Bake at 200°C for 15-20 minutes or until bread and parmesan is golden and crispy. Allow to cool before adding to salad.
- When ready to serve, toss the croutons together with the lettuce and parmesan shavings. Add a generous amount of your favorite Caesar dressing!
